Vanessa Santo

Senior Vice President of Commercial Development

Vanessa Santo is responsible for the acquisition and feasibility of land opportunities along with the procurement of the anchor tenant throughout the southeastern region of the United States. In addition, she pursues redevelopment opportunities in which an anchor tenant can be obtained.

Prior to Century Retail, Vanessa worked for the Barclay Group in its eastern region for nearly seven years as a principal partner. Barclay is a Florida based nationwide developer. Vanessa is largely responsible for establishing the Barclay Group as a recognized Publix developer in Tennessee. She also assisted in the overall development of the Barclay Group acquisition team covering the eastern region.

Prior to the Barclay Group, Vanessa worked for Publix Super Markets for fourteen years. She worked in several capacities in the Real Estate Department including: leasing, property management and site selection. Vanessa led many teams on continuous improvement efforts for the company and established foundation processes that Publix utilizes today. She has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers for twenty years.
