Century Retail

February 22, 2010 – Jensen Beach, FL – A southeastern developer Century Retail began the redevelopment Ocean Breeze Plaza anchored by Publix Super Market and 50,000 square feet of small shop space, with construction that commenced in November of 2009.

Ocean Breeze Plaza is located in the City of Ocean Breeze Park, Jensen Beach area of Florida on Jensen Beach Boulevard and Skyline Drive.

All of the construction for the plaza will be done in one phase. The project will consist of rebuilding a new larger Publix to 45,600 square feet and site work within the Publix parking field. The rest of the center will be left alone. Construction will also include the addition of site lighting to the front field of the retail section.

“Century Retail is very enthusiastic about investing in the Jensen Beach area. We feel the community and the residents will benefit from the new Publix,” states Charlie Boscarino, President of Century Retail.

The Century Retail construction development team estimate that both phases will be completed by Fall of this year and Publix opening is scheduled to be October 30th, 2010.

Century Retail just completed a redevelopment project that included another Publix in Ormond Beach, FL and plan on completing other grocer redevelopment projects within the next several months.

Century Retail currently leases and manages over 80 properties within the Southeast, mainly in Central Florida. This commercial leasing company specializes in redevelopment and acquisitions.
