ZEPHYRHILLS — Three new tenants have signed leases for space at Summertree Plaza, a new retail plaza at 32765 Eiland Blvd., Century Retail announced Tuesday, Nov. 11.

The new tenants are:
--Anytime Fitness, which will be occupying 3,600 square feet;
--a Subway shop that will be occupying 1,350 square feet;
--and an unidentified cleaning business that will be occupying 1,225 square feet.

Summertree Plaza is a 64,200-square-foot plaza anchored by a 45,600-square-foot Publix Super Market that opened Oct. 30. Space within Summertree Plaza reportedly leases for $26 per square foot according to a Century Retail Web site.

Summertree Plaza is located north of The Home Depot that is on the northwest corner of the intersection of Eiland Boulevard and State Road 54 in what is becoming an area of growth on Zephyrhills’ west side.

Many more national retailers are anticipated to lease space soon in Summertree Plaza, according to Century Retail.

Century Retail notes on its Web site that more than 57,400 people live within a 5-mile radius of Summertree Plaza. The average household income within that 5-mile radius ranges from $45,000 to $52,500, according to information obtained in 2007 from the US Census Bureau.

Century Retail is an affiliate of Century Retail Funds Inc. Century Retail was organized in 2004 for the purpose of leasing its ever-expanding portfolio of new retail projects under development in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and the Carolinas. Century Retail currently has 80 shopping centers in its portfolio with an estimated 27 of those projects currently under development, Century Retail’s Web site said.

Century Retail’s Florida operations are based in Lakeland.
